Interested in learning more about Tools of the Mind Kindergarten program?
Are you interested in learning how to build foundational executive function and self-regulation skills at the same time as you are building academic skills in kindergarten?
Do you want a program that excites and engages your kindergarten students and your kindergarten teachers and supports the development of both?
Do you believe that learning should be playful in kindergarten and designed at the same time to intentionally develop the needed skills for later school success?
Are your teachers suffering burn out from implementing too many different initiatives and despite your efforts you’re still not impacting child outcomes the way you hoped?
Tools of the Mind is a research-based early childhood program that combines comprehensive Preschool & Kindergarten curriculum with transformational teacher professional development. Tools has a targeted focus on developing young children’s self-regulation skills based on Vygotskian theory. Curriculum content meets all state and national standards with consistent embedded practice of self-regulation and social-emotional skills. The Tools K curriculum content is aligned with the Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards, provides teachers and administrators assessment options and data analysis with PowerTools, and is aligned with commonly used assessments.
You are cordially invited to attend an overview of our program! Tools of the Mind will be presenting a general overview of our curriculum. The overview will be conducted by Tools of the Mind staff who will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the program and/or the registration process. Hear from and have the opportunity to talk with administrators or teachers that are implementing Tools now to learn about their experience, and have the opportunity to ask questions and meet with a Tools team member.
Program materials and resources will be available and on display and you’ll have the opportunity to see classroom video and speak to current Tools of the Mind school partners.
