Interested in learning more about Tools of the Mind Pre-Kindergarten program?
Have you heard about Tools of the Mind and always wondered what it’s about and what it looks like in action?
Would you like to talk with teachers and administrators implementing Tools to learn about their experiences?
Are you looking for a curriculum and approach to classroom management, schedule and environment that builds foundational self-regulation skills at the same time as core school readiness skills?
Are you looking for an approach that supports the development of the whole child?
Tools of the Mind is a research-based early childhood program that combines comprehensive Preschool & Kindergarten curriculum with transformational teacher professional development. The Tools program applies Vygotskian theory to embed self-regulation practice into all activities and classroom practices. The Tools PreK curriculum content meets all state and national standards, provides assessment options and is aligned with commonly used assessments.
You are cordially invited to attend an overview of our program! Learn what a typical day in a Tools PreK classroom is like, about our approach to teacher training and how we partner with programs to build capacity and sustainability. Hear from and have the opportunity to talk with administrators or teachers that are implementing Tools now to learn about their experience, and have the opportunity to ask questions and meet with a Tools team member.
Program materials and resources will be available and on display and you’ll have the opportunity to see classroom video and speak to current Tools of the Mind school partners.
